S.A.I.L. is a leadership program offered from the Office of Campus Life at Kean Ocean , through the Kean University Center for Leadership and Service. S.A.I.L. will engage Kean University's current and rising leaders through a series of workshop lectures, discussions, activities and games-all geared to develop the organizational leader.
Prior to each workshop, participants will be given the chance to interact and network with a dinner. Dinner workshops are held on Tuesday nights, starting on March 3, 2015, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Workshop topics and activities will range from week to week during the seven-week program.
In addition to participating in the workshops, S.A.I.L. will enable the student leaders to work together to plan, propose, implement and participate in a community service project demonstrating their skills and abilities.
All Kean University undergraduate students, with 12 or more credits obtained, and graduate students are encouraged to apply. Prior formal leadership experience is not required. Applicants are only asked to possess a desire to bring about positive change to their organizations and community.
Applications for admission into the S.A.I.L. program are due online by 5p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2015. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Kean Ocean Campus Life at (732) 255-0400x7405 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
