Kean University art history student Jennifer Zuniga is being groomed as a future leader in the art world with a prestigious three-year internship at the Newark Museum. The Diversifying Art Museum Leadership Initiative internship exposes college students to the full range of museum departments, paying them while training them in all aspects of the business.

You know you’re having a good day when Tony Award-winner Kelli O’Hara insists on singing a second song with you before a sold-out crowd. That’s what happened to 20 Kean University theatre and music students who auditioned to perform To Build a Home from the Broadway show The Bridges of Madison County with O’Hara at her recent Kean Stage concert.

Kean students recently got a lesson in international social activism from the head of a nonprofit organization that is helping to build communities in impoverished areas in South Africa.
