Kean is just 30 minutes from bustling New York City and just a short distance from Newark Liberty International Airport. The campus is easily accessible via car, bus and rail transportation. The Union Train Station on New Jersey Transit’s Raritan Valley line is a 2-minute walk to campus.

Enjoy an Admissions Information Session by one of our very own Kean Student Ambassadors, followed by a full campus and residence hall tours.  This campus visit lasts approximately two hours and are offered throughout the week, and on Saturdays.  This event is designed for individual students and their families.  Large group’s looking to schedule a campus visit should click on “Group & School Tours” below.

Spend the morning at Kean University's New Jersey Center for Science, Technology & Mathematics (NJCSTM) Information Day on Saturday, October 8. Come learn about our innovative programs in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), including:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Biomedicine and Engineering (joint program with NJIT)
  • 5-year B.S./M.S. Programs: Biotechnology/Molecular Biology, Computational science and engineering, and Education (Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics)

Financing Your Degree

This information session is designed for prospective students to learn all about their financial options to help finance their Kean degree. A panel discussion and presentation will be led by representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, Scholarship Services, and Student Accounting. Information sessions are held once per month on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. Register soon for one of our upcoming Financing Your Kean Degree Information Sessions!

Freshman Friday

Accelerated Admission appointments are available for freshman applicants to fast-track the application and admission process. Students are invited to complete our Freshman Application, submit their Official hard-copy high school transcript and supplemental application requirements, and meet with an Admissions Counselor for a same-day admission decision. Students with a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher are qualified to participate in this event and will receive a $75 application fee waiver.
