Research Integrity and Compliance

Kean University is committed to the highest standards of integrity and responsibility in all research activities. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) promotes education and training in the responsible conduct of research and scholarship. ORSP ensures that all research activities, sponsored or unsponsored, involving either humans or animals, meet ethical standards and follow specific federal, state, and university regulations and procedures.

As a way to educate the Kean community, we have made available a collection of resources which address this topic area. Among these resources you’ll find more information about the Responsible Conduct of Research online training sponsored by the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative, the IRB online training course sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, and the IACUC online training course sponsored by the Laboratory Animal Training Association.
