The mission of the Office of Academic Assessment is to provide leadership for the planning and implementation of academic program review, student learning outcomes, university assessment, and assessment-related training. The Office is committed to creating a sustainable culture of assessment dedicated to advancing Kean University’s dual mission of excellence and access.
The vision for the Office of Academic Assessment is to become the primary facilitator of assessment activity which will promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making. The Office of Academic Assessment will lead, teach, and build a culture of assessment.
The Office of Academic Assessment strives to build a culture of assessment through teamwork, integrity, and inclusiveness.
