Accounting
The Accounting Club is organized to bring together students interested in the accounting profession in a social and academic atmosphere, and is designed to aid their personal and professional development.
Our Mission:
- To develop and foster the interest of accounting students and to serve as the representative voice of accounting majors.
- To create, develop and promote an interest in accounting as a profession to other students and the public.
- To promote fellowship, and to augment the curriculum with social and other educational opportunities outside the classroom.
- To provide the opportunity to affiliate with other professional organizations including the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Criminal Justice
Kean University Criminal Justice Student Association
Students enrolled at Kean are invited to join the Criminal Justice Club, which is run by elected student leadership, with faculty advisement. In the past, the club has invited professionals working in the criminal justice system to speak about their jobs. Also, the Club has taken trips to prisons, courts, halfway houses, and even the famous New York City Criminal Court. Students who want to explore different possible career directions find the CJ Club very useful as a source of finding out "what's out there."
Alpha Phi Sigma, The National Criminal Justice Society
Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Honor Society for Criminal Justice, is dedicated to recognizing and promoting excellence in the study and practice of criminal justice, fostering integrity, professionalism, and creative performance, and promoting scholarship and accomplishment in criminal justice.

Economics & Finance
Economics & Finance Club
The Economics and Finance Club of Kean University is open to all students majoring in Finance or not. Our objectives are to provide students with knowledge and better understanding in the fields of finance. The club achieves these objectives through workshops, field trips and seminars on an array of financial topics. The membership to our club is free of charge to students whom are currently enrolled at Kean University. New Members are always welcome! Members are challenged to play a Stock Market Game ; which allows them an opportunity to create a portfolio that will be compared to other members' portfolios.
Management
Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM), Kean University Chapter
SAM is a student organization, open to all full-time undergraduate students who are interested in management. SAM welcomes and encourages all full-time undergraduate students at Kean University to become a member. Application forms are available at the University Center, Room 219. SAM activities will add practical management experiences to its members and exposure to the expert opinions in the current business world.

Marketing
Mu Kappa Tau International Marketing Honor Society, Kean University Chapter
Mu Kappa Tau was founded in 1966 by members of Pi Sigma Epsilon, the only National, Coed, Professional, Fraternity in Marketing, Sales Management, and Selling. Mu Kappa Tau is the only marketing honor society to be recognized by the Association of Collegiate Honor Societies. Mu Kappa Tau offers both international membership and chapter affiliation to its members.
Membership is limited to students majoring in Marketing with an overall cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.00 scale. This includes: Juniors ranking in the top 10% of their class and Seniors and graduate students ranking in the top 20% of their class.

Public Administration
Pi Alpha Alpha, The National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration
Membership in Pi Alpha Alpha is limited to persons who demonstrate academic achievement in public affairs and administration program in NASPAA member schools and/or outstanding public service, and who fall within the following classes: student, alumni, faculty and honorary. All memberships are national memberships with a local chapter affiliation. All categories of membership enjoy the same rights and privileges.
Each year, the Kean Chapter of PAA solicits nominations form amongst the leading graduate and undergraduate public administration majors on campus. The Chapter holds an annual induction dinner in the fall and a variety of networking and development activities over the course of the year.
