MR.
JOSEPH WILF Trustee
Mr. Wilf was originally appointed to the Board
of Trustees in 1992 and reappointed in 1998 by
Governor Whitman. He is president of Garden Homes
Management Corporation in Short Hills, N.J., and
founder of the Wilf Family Foundation. The
Foundation supports the United Jewish Appeal, the
United Way, St. Barnabas Medical Center,
Elizabeth General Medical Center, the American
Cancer Society and many other social and
educational institutions. Mr. Wilf is a founding
member of the U.S. Holocaust Museum and the Kean
University Holocaust Resource Center. He is the
recipient of the Louis Brandeis Humanitarian
Award of the Zionist Organization of America, the
David Ben Gurion Peace Medal from the Israel
Bonds Organization and has been awarded honorary
doctor of laws degrees from Yeshiva University
and the Rabbinical College of America. Mr. Wilf
resides in Hillside.
