Exceptional Educational Opportunities (EEO)

The EEO program is designed to assist students who do not meet general admission criteria but have the potential to succeed in a college environment. The program provides developmental studies courses in a supportive environment that begins during a six-week pre-freshman summer program. Many students who are admitted to this program may qualify to receive additional financial aid through the New Jersey State EOF program.

Candidates for EEO transfer admission must appear for an interview with the EEO program's transfer coordinator for an assessment of the student's financial eligibility and overall compatibility with the program's services. You must also complete the Free Application for Federal Aid and a Transfer Aid Form for the proper channeling of financial aid. If you're accepted, you'll be required to attend an orientation program for transfer students. You will also be assigned an EEO counselor who is a specialist in the school of your major.
