Conscientious Employee Protection Act ("Whistleblower Act")
The Conscientious Employee Protection Act (N.J.S.A. 34:19-1 et seq.) protects an employee from retaliatory action when the employee discloses violations of law, rule or regulation.
Kean University provides a secure channel through which current University employees can make confidential disclosures of actual or suspected wrongful conduct. Concerned employees should call (908) 737-5989 to make a confidential report. Individuals may make such reports anonymously if desired, and their anonymity will be protected to the extent possible and as permitted by law. Such reports shall be evaluated fairly and addressed promptly and appropriately.
