Kean University offers a range of highly competitive Division III athletics teams, with first-class recreational facilities for our student athletes. Our Harwood Arena and its completely renovated health and wellness center, along with the new Jim Hynes Baseball Stadium, the new women's softball field and the renovated Kean Alumni Stadium for football and track, give our athletes, and all of our students, a competitive edge.

Among our 16 athletic teams are the 2008 ECAC Division III Champions in women's field hockey, the 2007 NCAA Division III National Champions in baseball, and our women’s basketball team who earned a coveted spot in the Elite Eight for two straight years and back-to-back New Jersey Athletic Conference titles.
